Students Were Sickened, But Aramark Beat The Rap

Flickr.com photo

Word comes from The Hoya that an outbreak of gastrointestinal distress could not be positively linked to consumption of Aramark "Grab 'N' Go" items, according to this article. (Click here)

It's certainly not the first time this company with shadows of old mob ties has "beat the rap." It's no coincidence this blog has a metatag called "Food Borne Illness" just to keep all the many stories organized...endless instances of puking and crapping after eating nasty Aramark food which I strongly suspect I will be posting about in the weeks, months, possibly years to come.

And, yeah, a lot of times Aramark manages to "beat the rap." Yet so often the company is...how shall I phrase it? THE USUAL SUSPECT.

Sample comment from a reader. Rah rah, keep up the good work, hey, how about a little more attention to our problems here at the University of The State of Ames? Here's a link from our campus newspaper, check it out, etc.
